The last thing you want to do is be stressed about how to grow flowers.
Even after gardening for more than a decade, my husband (a horticulturalist) and I (a master gardener) are still learning. Still experimenting. We have successes and failures. All gardeners do.
With that being said, below are our 8 top tips on how to grow flowers.
First off it's good to know some gardening basics like what zone you live in.
Visit and get to know your local garden center owner (as opposed to big box stores). He will have plants that do well in your area. Ask him/her for easy to grow annuals and perennials.
Be realistic in how much time you want to spend in the garden and don't plant more than you and your family can take care of.

Learn how to compost. It's good for the environment and good for your plants.
