How to Measure Square Foot Garden

by john

Question: How do I get square footage of my raised flower bed. It is l shaped 71 feet x 47 feet x18 in by 3 in wide

Answer: To get the total square footage you multiply length x width x depth. So 71 x 47 x depth(?) add that answer to 18 x 3 x depth and you should get the total square footage.

A great site for more information is http://www.mysquarefootgarden.org/

Hope that helps!
