I've started to grow indoors...ALL YEAR ROUND!

I just wanted to share with everyone the fact that gardening can take place year round. That's right! I grow year round because I grow indoors. I used to do all my gardening on a raised bed in my backyard but with our short seasons on the east coast, it's hard to accomplish much before winter rolls in. A friend introduced me to indoor gardening. She uses hydroponics but I just use potted plants. The trick is having indoor grow lighting. Because I have a smaller setup and don't have a whole lot of space, I use led grow lights that I found online (click here for the led grow lights I bought online). I basically have the lights on for 12-16 hours a day and I've put together a really nice herb garden. I still grow outdoors (you can't totally replace the feeling of spring time gardening) but it's nice to have plants around all year round.
