Mid-South Region Questions and Answers

peony.jpg

If you have questions about what to plant in the Mid-South region, you have come to the right place!

What is considered the Mid-South?

Good question!

Here in the United States, the Mid South Region consists of West and parts of Middle Tennessee, Northern Mississippi, and Eastern Arkansas.

This region also includes parts of the world such as Japan, Korea, Viet Nam, parts of China, Argentena, Mexico, and New Zealand according to the book Mid-South Garden Guide: The Essential Reference Tool for Every Gardener (7th Edition)

That makes sense when you think about it because species of plants like azaleas, peonies, and camellias actually originated in the Orient.

We want to help you have the best garden possible so go ahead and ask your questions in the form below.

Hellebore Pests  Not rated yet
We planted some hellebores (Lenten rose) last year in our front yard and they are doing very well.

We love them because they don't require much maintenance ...
