My Modest Garden

Lately, due to job constraints, I've not been able to create a huge garden outside and in those days that I did have a garden...well, the deer and raccoons had a feast. Suffice it to say that my gardens are now outdoors in a homemade greenhouse or indoors in a sunny window. And they are all turning hydroponic or hybrid hydroponic.

But I still enjoy the first crocus heralding the beginning of spring followed by tulips, rhubarb and dandelions...

So in the dead of winter right now I mostly enjoy my pride and joy, my dwarf banana plant which is currently sprouting babies. Makes me feel almost like a father...

I sit here surveying my family of plants and see a coffee tree, banana plant, palm trees, an aloe plant as well as several that I have long forgotten the names of.

So I'm bragging about my modest garden because it does what plants and gardens are meant to do which is 'make us feel good'...
