Our Garden Travels

Our garden travels has been documented with this web site.

Alfred and I love to visit other gardens, whenever time permits, while we are on vacation.

You may want to check these gardens out yourself if you are in the area.

We hope to inspire you with pictures of some new structures you could add to your garden, or maybe a new plant we have discovered that will work for our zone.

At the bottom of this page, we would also like to hear from you! You will see a form where you can show us pictures of your garden travels!

If you like to travel, have you ever thought of being paid for it?

Check out the Site Build It! graphic below to find out how you can have a profitable online business sharing with others your favorite vacation spot or hometown.

Travel Business

Cheeckwood Botanical Gardens and Museum is one of our favorites. Nestled in the hills of Nashville, it overlooks the city. You can spend hours touring the gardens and the museum.

Carnton Plantation and Gardens is a wonderful step back in time. Be sure and visit the gardens, house, new visitors center, and the cemetery next time you're in Franklin, Tn.
Sonnenberg Gardens and Historic Mansion is in the Finger Lakes district of New York. Certainly worth a visit. We especially enjoyed the Summer House on the property. I would love to have one of these structures.

Niagara Falls Garden Trail is a great way to see all the gardens around Niagara. Don't miss the Niagara Botanical Gardens which is just about 15 minutes away from the falls.

North Carolina Arboretum is a fantastic spot nestled among the Southern Appalachian Mountains in Ashville, North Carolina. Be sure and visit the gardens and trails when you're in the area.
