Our Garden

Here is our garden. At the bottom of this page, you will be able to submit a picture and information about your garden. This site is for you! We want to hear from you!

We have been working on our garden for about 16 years.

When we bought the property in 1993, it was nothing but a cow farm with some trees and underbrush. We saw that it had great potential though.

Here you can see some pictures of what it has evolved into today.

Tip for buying property if you like to garden

We dug a hole on the property that we were considering to see if it had good soil.

We know that being bottom land made it a great place for a garden.

This perennial bed was one of the first gardens we established in our new yard. We had brought several of our favorites from our previous home.

Here you see one of my favorite perennials called Dianthus, or pinks.

Below is our raised herb bed planted with spring tulips.

Adding a fringe tree to your garden like we did is a beautiful addition to any yard.

It always gets a lot of comments whenever it's in bloom.
