Winter Gardening

Winter gardening in the Mid-South is anything but dull. It seems we are just as busy in the winter as we are in the spring and summer. This is the time of year we start planting trees and shrubs, taking out those plants that have not done well because of weather or disease. By late February we have hopefully gotten all of our spring bulbs planted, but if not, we go ahead anyway knowing that they will bloom later in the season than normal.

Here's a video you may enjoy about what we are doing in the garden in February.

If you enjoy watching birds in the winter as we do, you will enjoy this video.
